webmaster's opinion

The first thing I noticed with this movie was that Dolph wasn't given a whole lot to work with - there really wasn't much in the way of character development for him. The script itself seemed to fast-track, skipping over places where more background or development could have been presented. Finally, the cinematography is rather bleak in this movie (and it's not just because it takes place is eastern Europe). All of that being said, however, Dolph pulls off a good job with what he was given to work with. There are some good action scenes in the movie and some pretty dramatic moments, but overall, I'd have to say it's not one of his best movies (through no fault of Dolph's, however.)
